Your feet thudded against the soft grass as you ran excitedly through the Asgardian grounds. The grass muffled the sound of your shoes hitting the ground, which you were grateful for, not wanting to alert anyone.
'I'm in Asgard,' You thought, panting as you continued to run faster until you could run no more.
You looked down at your clothes, and knew you didn't look out of the ordinary. Since arriving, your clothes looked Asgardian to anyone but you, to you, it looked as it did when you put them on this morning.
You bent over, your hands resting against your knees as you fought to catch your breath, your excitement pouring over inside, your legs aching to run again.
"Hello?" You looked up and turned your head. A blond man, who looked French, stood a few feet away from you.
"Are you alright?" He took a step forward, and you smiled, nodding before speaking,
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a teensy tad tired. But fine, don't worry."
Your eyes followed him as he began to circle you, inspecting you, as though he saw something interesting.
You jumped lightly, startled, as his hand jerked out and he bowed.
"Fandral," His voice dripped out of his mouth, the words amalgamating into something that sounded like seduction without the seducing words.
You took his hand and shook it lightly, "(Y/n)."
A smile twitched onto his lips. "(Y/n)? What a unique name for such a unique woman."
You felt a small blush creep onto your lips, his stare betraying his words. He hadn't meant 'Unique', but it had slipped out.
You smiled politely in return. His gaze swept over yours for several minutes before his voice hit your ears,
"I have to go, now. Would you like to accompany me to the castle?"
The thought of being able to go to the castle and meet those you've heard stories and fables about sent your heart into a flutter, beating seemingly three thousand times a minute.
"Sure, sounds fun."
Fandral took your hand, his blue eyes meeting your (e/c) ones for a moment before he took the first stride, you following him closely.
You thanked the genie internally, your excitement streaming and pounding through your veins.

The odds (Loki X Reader) - Chapter 6
(...)
Someone called your name in the dark. You tried to move in the voice's direction or just shout back, but you couldn't move, talk or see anything. There was a battle happening somewhere around you, you could tell by the sound of colliding metal and the big amount of guttural screams.
Your body was cold and numb, but you could still feel the pain. That's not how it was supposed to end, not how you expected to die. When did everything become so messed up?
You felt the metalic taste of blood in your mouth and, a few seconds later, something warm carefully wrapped your waist, making a hurtful moan left your lips.

One of these Days... (Hank McCoy x reader)
“I’ll… leave you to it then. And bring you supper later.”, you mumbled, hoping that Charles would hear you, but one glance told you that he was still ignoring you.
With a heavy sigh you closed the door to his bedroom and left him there in the semi-darkness, alone. Which was exactly what he wanted you to do, but you knew it was the very least you should do. But you… you just lacked the strength to go on.
Fighting to keep a sob from wrenching free, you leaned against the closed door and wiped away tears. The school was empty, closed. All teachers and students either drafted or gone. You balled your

Winter Soldier x Reader: Oblivion: (6)
Somehow, you had managed to make it to the edge of the forest without being caught. You had spent hours racing through the forest, moving quickly but quietly through the dense foliage. More than once you had encountered a close call with a overhead chopper or a patrol, but you managed to sneak past each without a fight.
By the time you had made it to the forest's end, your eyes and limbs were heavy with stress and fatigue. You continuously looked to Bucky, looking for any indication of the same symptoms, but he was resilient as ever, his face a cold mask of determination and focus.
Outside the forest, you could see the back of a row of hous
