Loki leaned in, his hands folded neatly around yours.
To the right side of you, there were thousands, no, millions of people seated in a great sea of chairs.
To your left, there was a Minister, and a giant Television, at least thirty miles to the top of it, stretching to at most forty five miles wide so that the large audience could see every moment.
The Minister spoke loudly, the microphone amplifying his words by what seemed like an ear shattering thousand percent,
"(Y/n), do you have any vows for your Asguardian thin. . .Husband?"
You cringed as Loki set his jaw in anger at nearly being called a 'thing'.
You nodded.
"Loki of Asguard, I take you to be my husband, my partner, my only love. I will love you more and more every day, even with the conditions bearing down upon us. I was confused, and I'll admit, slightly resentful towards you when you chose me out of the crowd to be your wife, but I'm glad, now, that you did choose me. I give you my
hand, my heart, and my love until the day I die."
A thousand or so 'Aw's rang through the crowd to your right.
"And do you, Loki, have any vows for your wife?"
Loki ignored him and smiled at you,
"(Y/n) of Midguard, I take you to be my wife, my partner, the only thing in my life that matters. I love you more than I could love any crown. I am deeply saddened that the conditions of this marriage mean you cannot return with me to Asguard, I am resentful that I have to leave your side, but I will never stop thinking of you. I love you, (y/n). You have my entire heart."
You felt your face heat as you smiled.
The minister spoke up once more,
"You may kiss the bride."
Your first kiss by Loki was stolen from your lips as his face got closer to yours, until your lips touched gingerly.
You looked at him, into those greenish blue eyes of his, knowing what came next.
It was a truce between worlds. There would be no more invasions, assaults, or anything violent between Asguard and Midguard, if Loki became wed to a woman on 'Midguard'.
Loki chose you.
Unfortunately, he would have to return to Asguard, and you had to stay on Midguard as part of the agreement. There would be no honeymoon, no days after, no children.
Nothing but the rings, presented by the finest blacksmiths in Asguard and on Earth.
You got the Asguardian one, and Loki the Midguardian one.
You looked behind Loki as his step brother, Thor, walked over to him.
Loki threw no more than a careless glance over his shoulder before returning his gaze to you.
Thor placed his hand on Lokis' shoulder,
"It is time to go, brother."
Loki looked, irritated, at Thor, who simply shrugged it off.
Loki looked to you one last time, and knowing he couldn't really keep it, he promised you,
"I'll come back for you, (y/n)."
You nodded sadly. Over the last few days, you had grown to love the dominant Asguardian.
You watched as your husband walked off the stage, and with a flash of light, he was gone.
He took your heart with him, while you kept his.

Loki x Reader
_________ made her way up the dark halls to her bedroom, making sure to pass Clint's room quietly as she ascended the stairs. She glanced at the clock and it read 2:47 am in glowing cobalt.
Most of the Avengers, if not all, had already gone to sleep. She padded up the stairs, all the way to the top, where she shared the floor with the infamous Loki of Asgard.
She heard his frantic pacing before she even got close to their rooms.
"_________," he snapped, his tone icy. Even now, he was trapped behind glass. He slammed his palm against the cold sheen of gloss. "Where have you been dallying?"
"I made myself tea and did some work."

Happy Valentine's Day (TonyxReader) One-Shot
"Hey Tony," Pepper asked as she strolled into the room. "What are you going to do for Valentine's Day?"
She looked at him with kind, yet timid eyes, awaiting his answer. Tony had been working in the lab non-stop for this entire week and Pepper assumed it was because of the holiday. Tony merely shrugged, not even looking up from the new suit he had been making. Although it was new, this one would probably end up in another pile with all the other suits he had been making this week non-stop. He grabbed a screw driver and continued to work, not looking up once at Pepper who walked over to him.
"Hey how about we go and watch a movie or somethin

I Kept My Promise (LokixReader) One-Shot
You tread along the snow trail, the wind ceasing and the snow falling gently on you overhead. Your cheeks were frost bitten red, your lips chapped despite how much your scarf was wrapped around your face.
Your body was freezing.
The snow was coming in strong even though the wind wasn't that bad. Your body was starting to go numb in different places. Your thighs we're one of those places. Your shoes felt so thin it was like walking on ice.
Why we're you walking in this weather and not home where you could be nice and toasty?
Simple.
You were in Jotunheim.
~~~Flashback ~~~
"Loki how come you never visit anymore?" you asked the Prince with
I'm entitled to writing a Sadfic every once in awhile.
Even if that 'Every once in awhile' means every few days.
I originally wanted to title this 'A truce between worlds', but I was afraid it wouldn't fit, so I settled with this title instead, and worked the original title into the writing.
