Your heart jittered inside your rib cage, swelling up like a balloon before deflating to its normal size.
Your hands shook almost as much as your heart pulsed, but you continued to walk confidently towards the young man across the hall.
It was the last day of school, and you had made it your goal to tell him how much you liked him.
Laughter filled your ears, and you froze. Turning behind you, you saw dozens of knowing students. You mouthed,
"Is it too late?"
They all nodded, a couple of them making hand gestures to shoo you forward.
You frowned deeply, and hung your head. Taking careful steps forward, you closed the distance between he and you.
If everyone else knew, did he know, too?
He turned, and the two of you locked eyes for several seconds. You couldn't break away from his gaze.
"Hey, Chris."
"Hey." The goofy smile he always wore laid dormant on his face. You felt the temperature of your cheeks rise, climbing to unbearable heats.
"I just wanted to tell you that you're amazing, and I really really like you, and you're awesome, and attractive, and I've had a crush on you since way beginning in the year," You paused for a breath, speaking quickly like that stole the air from your chest. "And yeah, I'm going to leave before I embarrass myself further."
Spinning on your heels, you dashed from the area.
"(Y/n)-!"
Just before you were able to escape to the outside world, a hand cupped yours.
You felt a small tug, and you turned around.
A pair of warm lips met yours.
Your eyes widened in surprise as Chris wrapped an arm around your waist to pull you closer. You knew you were blushing harder than you ever had before.
His lips parted from yours just as his tongue had glided across your lips.
"I like you, too. A lot. I've had a crush on you since we first met. I don't care if I'm embarrassing myself, I'm not leaving."
Cheers erupted from your peers, and some people you didn't even know.
His smile held true, his eyes filled with a truth you couldn't deny.
You smiled lightly, and his face came closer, sealing his words with a tender kiss.
You didn't care if he had already known, you were happy you went through with telling him.
Returning the kiss with a fiery passion, your hands found themselves on his waist.

Work Experience (Teen!Tony x Reader)
You knew work experience at Stark Industries was going to be challenging, but it was a risk you were willing to take.
You walked into the large building, looking around for some assistance.
Suddenly, the man himself, Howard Stark strolled into the reception. His hair was combed perfectly and his suit looked like it cost a fortune. Behind him was a guy about your age, with brunette hair, which was a little messier than Howard's.
As Howard's eyes laid upon you, his mouth turned into a huge smile, making the small wrinkles near his mouth and eyes visible.
"Hey, (f/n), I'm Howard Stark, friends with your dad. I see you're on work experience!"

The Last Time (Tony x Reader)
I find myself at your door,
Just like all those times before,
I'm not sure how I got there,
All roads—they lead me here.
I imagine you are home,
In your room, all alone,
And you open your eyes into mine,
And everything feels better.
Your hands blindly searched for a body, your boyfriend's, beside you. But no one was there.
"Tony?" You called out with your eyes still shut. It was probably two or three in the morning, yet you had expected that coming.
But you called out his name again, still no answer. You sat down on the edge of the bed, rubbing your tired eyes awake.
"JARVIS," your voice croaked. "Is Tony working again?"
"I'm afra
